For PACT's Spring 2018 annual elections we ran our first online election. The overall process summary:

  1. Build the ballot in an online voting system.
  2. Assure the voter roster includes household email addresses.
  3. Send each household an email with a ballot access key for each eligible voter.
  4. Send election communications through a single, dedicated email address.
  5. Require all votes to be online, offer access and assistance at school.
  6. Election Judges prepare results and certify process.
  7. Conclude with a voter feedback survey.

Twice a year Elementary students will have Student Led Conferences, with their homeroom teacher. Drop in appointments for non-homeroom, non-advisors are the 10 minutes available between scheduled time-slots.

In late September or early October, elementary has Goal Setting Conferences with the homeroom teacher. 

Elementary students will not have school on the Thursday or Friday on these conference days, but secondary students will have a full school day on Thursday.
